JIM GREEAR, President
Jim brings to Bastazo extensive international experience in serial entrepreneurship, public speaking, leadership, community involvement along with more than 30 years in senior management developing strategies, planning and tactical execution. Jim also provides start up and management consulting that provides strategic and creative direction on projects and executive oversight to clients ranging from consumer products and government agencies, to real estate/construction to retail, manufacturing and distribution to nonprofits and has benefited hundreds of private and public sector clients. Jim's background in high-technology, distribution and manufacturing has helped small and medium businesses to Fortune 500 companies. He consults regularly with executives from a variety of industries to help create innovative solutions to their specific problems. He has been dealing internationally since 1982 to the Caribbean, Europe, Pacific Rim, Middle East, Central and South America and the former British Commonwealth. James provides assistance and advice to the local SBA office, State of Florida SBDC, and has sat on numerous advisory boards for local businesses. He also provides volunteer services to help with sustainable economic developments. He held a Florida Real Estate License, a Series 7, Florida 2-15 license and is trained in Six Sigma, Lean Enterprises, ISO9000 Quality Systems, TQM, e-myth, and numerous other management disciplines.
Jim received Jesus Christ as his personal savior in 1986 and attended seminary in 1986-88. Similar to Jonah in the bible, Jim walked away from his calling to preach in 1988 and focused on the marketplace. During this time of rebellion, God raised him up to senior level management position in a mulitmillion dollar global operation, that prepared him with the tools necessary to help mentor and coach other business owners, pastors and nonprofit agencies. During this period, the company exploded and Jim was actively involved with operational changes at each level of business growth, from $3 million to almost $500 million in combined revenue in a multinational organization. In 1998, Jim completely surrendered to God and underwent intense reversals in his own personal life that eventually brought him to a place of brokenness and a humble grace. Today, Jim has a fervant passion to see restoration of the lost to God and to their fellow mankind. As an author and public speaker, Jim welcomes the opportunity to share Godly Priniciples in leadership, business, and life.
